Wi-Fi check add-on
Price +£25
A quick Wi-Fi check added to another booked home visit when the connection problem appears simple.
Outcome: Obvious router, placement or connection issues are corrected, or you know whether a dedicated Wi-Fi visit is needed.
Scope and inclusions
Adds up to 20 minutes to another booked visit. It covers basic router, placement and connection checks. It is not a whole-property survey, equipment plan or cabling design.
Focused Wi-Fi support visit
Price £135 fixed
Focused troubleshooting for one principal Wi-Fi problem, affected room, device or clearly defined symptom.
Outcome: The problem is resolved where practical, or its cause is narrowed down and the right next action is clear.
Scope and inclusions
Includes up to 90 minutes on site. It does not include a full property survey, detailed cabling design or installation of separately purchased equipment.
Whole-property Wi-Fi assessment
Price £195 fixed
A room-by-room assessment for homes with unreliable, uneven or confusing Wi-Fi coverage.
Outcome: You understand the coverage constraints and have a clear, equipment-neutral route to more reliable Wi-Fi.
Scope and inclusions
Covers one normal dwelling, up to three occupied floors and up to two hours on site. It includes a placement strategy but not extensive gardens, outbuildings or detailed cabling design.
Complex Wi-Fi property assessment
Price From £275
A wider assessment for larger or more complicated properties where a normal household survey is not enough.
Outcome: You have a coherent coverage approach for the main property and the additional areas that matter to you.
Scope and inclusions
Suitable for outbuildings, extensive gardens, more than three occupied floors or work requiring detailed cabling consideration. The exact scope and price are agreed before booking.
Computer services
On-site computer suitability check
Price £95 fixed
A proportionate check when an older or modest computer feels slow and you want to know whether further investment is sensible.
Outcome: You reach a practical keep, improve, repair or replace decision without paying for unnecessary deep testing.
Scope and inclusions
Covers one computer, one principal concern and up to 45 minutes on site. It includes basic specification, condition and performance checks, not dismantling, long tests, repair or data recovery.
Detailed computer performance assessment
Price £135 fixed
Deeper off-site testing for a reasonably capable computer that should perform better and may be worth improving rather than replacing.
Outcome: The likely constraints are isolated sufficiently to choose an economical optimisation, repair, upgrade or replacement route.
Scope and inclusions
Route-scheduled collection and return are included within the standard service area. The computer is normally held for two to three working days, never more than five without further agreement, with up to 90 minutes of active analysis. Repair, parts, reinstallation, data recovery and major malware remediation are separate.
Computer recommendation

Independent help choosing a suitable replacement based on what you do, what matters to you and your available budget.
Outcome: You receive two or three suitable current options and one clear recommendation, without being pushed towards unnecessary specifications.
Scope and inclusions
Includes a simple needs assessment and current product research. The customer purchases the chosen computer directly, so the hardware price remains separate and transparent.
Computer setup and transfer
Price From £200
Setup of one new computer for agreed everyday use, including transfer of accessible user files from the previous machine.
Outcome: Your new computer is configured, your accessible files are transferred and you know how to use the essential features.
Scope and inclusions
Covers one new computer and a straightforward transfer from one accessible source device. Software licences, hardware, specialist applications, damaged drives and complex data recovery are separate.
Complete computer replacement
Price From £250
A combined recommendation, setup and accessible file-transfer service for customers who want one supported route from old computer to new.
Outcome: A suitable replacement is chosen, configured for you and handed over ready for normal everyday use.
Scope and inclusions
Combines the £95 recommendation and from-£200 setup services at a discounted starting price. The customer purchases the hardware directly. Complex migration, specialist software and data recovery are quoted separately.

Outcome: Your agreed controls are easier to operate, with sensible accessible settings for normal day-to-day use.
Scope and inclusions
Includes up to 90 minutes on site for user-level settings, schedules and controls. It does not include electrical, plumbing or regulated heating work, and no specific energy saving can be guaranteed.
Home systems decision review

An independent review of one defined home-system decision before you commit significant money or make a difficult change.
Outcome: You can make a defensible decision with the main options, trade-offs and next step clearly understood.
Scope and inclusions
Covers one principal system, investment or decision with a bounded evidence review and discussion. Surveys, specialist design, multiple systems and extensive supplier engagement may require a wider service.
Whole-home systems review
Price From £495
A joined-up review when several systems, rooms or planned improvements need to work together more coherently.
Outcome: You have clear priorities and a sensible sequence for improving the home without creating avoidable conflicts or duplicated spending.

Covers several connected home systems and provides a coherent set of priorities. Complex properties, extensive evidence, detailed design and specialist surveys are quoted separately.
Plan and deliver

Detailed planning for a defined domestic system or connected-home improvement that is ready to move towards implementation.
Outcome: You have an implementation-ready route covering how the agreed result can be delivered and checked.
Scope and inclusions
Includes agreed use cases, compatibility, product-neutral recommendations, zones or rooms, user controls, hardware requirements, dependencies, sequence, indicative cost range and acceptance checks. A £100 credit applies when an earlier Homewise review is reused for the same scope.
Smart home deployment

£600 full day
Configuration, testing and handover of agreed user-level connected-home systems after the scope and required equipment are clear.
Outcome: The agreed systems are configured, tested and handed over in a form the household can use and understand.
Scope and inclusions
The booking covers agreed user-level configuration and testing. Hardware, subscriptions, physical installation, construction work and regulated electrical, plumbing or heating trades remain separate.
Complex home systems project definition

A paid definition stage for new-build, renovation or multi-trade projects where responsibilities and system interfaces must be established before delivery.
Outcome: The project has a clear brief, scope boundary, responsibilities, dependencies and a defensible basis for quotation and delivery.

The starting stage defines the brief and delivery structure. Detailed design, procurement, project management, specialist surveys, installation and later delivery days are quoted separately.

Independent support for websites that are unclear, underperforming or difficult to maintain. Work is scoped around a useful customer or business outcome rather than an open-ended list of technical changes.
Website health check
Price £325 fixed
A manual review for a website that feels unclear, dated or ineffective but where the underlying problems are not yet well defined.
Outcome: You understand the most important problems, what they are affecting and which improvements should be tackled first.
Scope and inclusions
Includes a bounded manual review and prioritised action plan. It is designed to remain useful as a standalone diagnosis. Implementation, copywriting, specialist accessibility audits and paid third-party tools are separate unless agreed.
Website improvement sprint
Price From £750
One defined implementation sprint focused on the highest-value improvements that can be completed within an agreed scope.
Outcome: A clearly defined part of the website is measurably clearer, easier to use or better able to support its intended purpose.
Scope and inclusions
The sprint scope, platform access and acceptance checks are agreed before work starts. A £150 credit from a Website Health Check applies when the same findings are reused and the sprint is booked within 30 days.
Simple Squarespace website build
Price From £2,500
A straightforward new Squarespace website for a small organisation or service with content ready and a clearly bounded requirement.
Outcome: You have a clear, professional and maintainable website that works across desktop and mobile and can be handed over confidently.
Scope and inclusions
The starting price covers a content-ready website of up to five pages, mobile refinement, controlled revisions and handover. Branding, extensive copywriting, photography, ecommerce, complex integrations and ongoing hosting or subscription costs are separate.
Occasional website support
Price £150 minimum block
Bounded help with a small, clearly defined set of website updates or problems when a larger review or sprint is not required.
Outcome: The agreed task set is completed or the remaining constraint and next action are made clear before further cost is incurred.
Scope and inclusions
The minimum block includes up to two hours on an agreed task set. Any work beyond that block is paused and agreed before continuing. Platform, plugin and third-party subscription charges are separate.

Senior advisory support for organisations, buildings and connected-system projects. Fixed project pricing is preferred where the required decision or outcome can be clearly bounded.

Scope and inclusions
The starting price assumes a clearly bounded service area and agreed stakeholder group. Large organisations, extensive data collection and implementation support are quoted separately.
Programme or technical assurance
Price From £2,250
Independent visibility of delivery assumptions, risks and decisions for a programme or technical workstream.
Outcome: Material risks, assumptions and unresolved decisions are visible to the people responsible for governing delivery.
Scope and inclusions
This is advisory assurance and does not imply regulatory certification, statutory approval or specialist professional sign-off. The cadence, evidence set and reporting route are agreed for each engagement.
Commercial booking rates
Commercial consultancy is typically charged at £750 per day. Fixed project pricing and modest discounts are available for clearly scoped multi-day engagements.
